Cleveland Cavaliers Removes All Of Tristan Thompson Images

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Tristan Thompson have been at odds over a contract agreement all summer. Thursday, Thompson let the expiration date to sign the qualifying offer. ESPN.com’s Dave McMenamin reported on Friday that the team is sending a message to Thompson by removing his likeness from Quicken Loans Arena. Chris Haynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer posted images of the Cavs removing all Thompson images, memorabilia and clothing from the Arena [Twitter, h/t ESPN.com]

Derrick Rose Injured Again

The Chicago Bulls Derrick Rose was injured in Tuesday practice. Rose sustained a broken orbital bone when getting hit by an elbow in the face. He will have surgery Wednesday. The Bulls will not determine how long he will miss games until after the surgery.

Jason Pierre-Paul, and his nine fingers, has been spotted. Photos exclusively obtained by the Daily News show Pierre-Paul without a bandage for the first time, and he certainly doesn’t look ready to play any time soon. 

Shocking images show a weary-looking JPP with his knuckle protruding from where his right index finger used to be and bandages on his thumb and middle finger. 


During the fourth of July Jason Pierre-Paul blew off his fingers with illegal fireworks that he purchased. The image below is the UHaul truck to carry the fireworks.

Gerald Green still has unreal hops, and the new Miami Heat guard puts it on full display in practice. Green posted a pair of Instagram videos on Wednesday night showing off just that. 

The first video he showing off how much hops he still has by jumping high enough to get his entire head above the rim. The second is a Dominque Wilkins windmill bounce off the wall and catch with ease. Needless to say should be plenty of highlight films in Hot Maimi.
